Inter Miami are interested in signing Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross, according to Eurosport. Shawcross is out of contract at Stoke in the Championship at the end of the season, and there is a chance that his contract at the Potters could be terminated early in order for him to move to the Major League Soccer club, according to the report.
Shawcross has been on the books of Stoke on a permanent basis since 2008 following a loan spell from Manchester United. The English central defender has been brilliant for the Potters over the years, but he does not appear to be in the players of the club at the moment. The defender has not started a single league game so far this season.
Former Manchester United and Everton star Neville is the manager of Miami at the weekend and is keen on securing the services of Shawcross and making him his first signing at the American club.
