There are some big news coming out of the United States. The new Major League Soccer franchise, Inter Miami, set to start competing in 2020, have made a big offer for one of the stars of South American football.
According to Radio Continental, Inter Miami, who are famously owned by David Beckham, have made a bid for River Plate midfielder Exequiel Palacios, the talented player who has been linked with some of the clubs in Europe. Reportedly, Inter Miami have offer around $23m for the 21-year-old midfielder, hoping they will beat the competition from elsewhere, most notably the German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
Technically, the club that has never played a competitive match in their history could be signing the star of one of the greatest clubs in South America. Palacios had a big role in River Plate’s run to the final of the Copa Libertadores, where they lost to Flamengo last month.
