Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly agreed terms with Lautaro Martinez after securing a €23 million agreement with Racing Club over a summer deal for the 23-year-old forward.
Also a target for Madrid behemoths Atletico and Real, Lautaro Martinez has emerged as one of the heavily sought-after hitmen in South America but Inter Milan have emerged as firm favourites to land him with Nerazzurri director of sports Piero Ausilio travelling to Argentina this weekend to watch him in action against Huracan.
Racing Club cruised to a 4-0 victory with Martinez playing an important part in the win.
Sportitalia reports that Inter Milan chief worked out a deal for the Brazilian gem who will be moving to Serie A in a summer swoop next June.
Nerazzurri are currently sitting in fourth in the Serie A standings and with Lautaro Martinez they will be hoping to mount a more serious title challenge next year.
