Reigning European champions Inter Milan have completed the signing of Italian teenager Marco Davide Faraoni on a four year contract. The eighteen year old Faraoni, widely hailed as one of Italy’s hottest future prospects, moves to Inter from SS Lazio, where he has spent the last ten years.

Faraoni is now contracted to the San Siro till 30th June 2014. Manchester United and Chelsea were both tracking the progress of the young defender but Inter have beaten both the English giants to his signature.

Bracciano born Faraoni did not make a single first team appearance for Lazio in his time at the Stadio Olimpico and said that his decision to leave the Biancocelesti was due to the club not allowing its youth players to develop.
