Inter Milan close in on Dzeko & Kolarov

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan are hopeful that they are getting closer and closer to securing the double signing of Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov from Roma. It’s no secret that Inter are planning on being very busy during the summer transfer window, to the point where many feel like they could be serious contenders for the Serie A title if they play their cards right.

Dzeko, in particular, has been heavily linked with a move to Inter, as they go in search of a new forward. It seems likely, if not certain, that Mauro Icardi is going to be leaving the club during the summer, and if that does wind up being the case then they’ll need another world class forward to fill the void. Dzeko may be moving into the latter stages of his career, but he could definitely do a job up top in Italy.
