La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Inter Milan are on the verge of signing Brazilian defender Dalbert Henrique from Nice.
Paris Saint-Germain were believed to be leading the chase for the 23-year-old as they saw him as a long-term successor to Maxwell, but it appears the full-back will be leaving France altogether.
Namely, La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that Inter Milan have already made their move, although they have yet to agree on a transfer fee with les Aiglons.
The Nerazzurri are not prepared to match Nice’s €12 million valuation, while they also need to free up one space for a non-EU player.
Dalbert Henrique enjoyed an excellent start to his career in France, having made 33 Ligue 1 appearances for les Aiglons, producing 3 assists in the process.
He now looks set for a big club move, with Stadio Giuseppe Meazza his most likely next destination.
