Sassuolo winger Matteo Politano is said to be edging closer to an Inter Milan move.
The 24-year-old versatile forward is coming off from a wonderful season with the Italian minnows. He made 34 Serie A appearances during which he bagged ten goals for Sassuolo.
His fine campaign was rewarded with an Italy call and Matteo Politano was with the Azzurri for their June friendlies against France and Netherlands although he did not get a chance to make his international debut.
Sky Sport Italia is reporting that Politano will be given another chance to shine at a bigger level as Inter Milan are edging closer to a deal for the €25 million worth footballer.
Politano is said to have already given his nod and will move to Inter on loan with an option to buy. Nerazzurri are expected to send two youth team players, Gabriele Zappa and Davide Merola over to Sassuolo in order to sweeten the pot.
