The Metro understands that Manchester City star Yaya Toure is closing in on a summer move to Inter Milan.
The Ivory Coast international has been at the Etihad Stadium since signing from Barcelona, and has since racked up two hundred and thirteen appearances in all competitions, scoring sixty-one goals.
He has been part of the squads that won the Premier League in both 2012 and 2014 and has winners’ medals in both 2011 FA Cup and the 2014 League Cup, with the 31 year old scoring in both finals.
However, by his own standards the midfielder has failed to produce his best form this campaign with Manuel Pellegrini’s men set to end the season without any silverware and the potential move to Serie A could see him reunited with former City boss Roberto Mancini.
The champions survived a scare to beat Aston Villa at the weekend, though they are ten points behind leaders Chelsea with just four games left to play.
