Inter Milan confident in sealing Giroud

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan are confident of completing the signing of Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud in the next few days. The popular Frenchman has been linked with a couple of different clubs over the last few weeks, with it becoming crystal clear that Chelsea would not be featuring him in a consistent role moving forward. 

Giroud has had an incredibly successful career up to this point both domestically and internationally, but at this point, it definitely seems like the next move in his career could be the last one – or, at the very least, the final ‘big’ transfer before he decides to hang them up for good. 

He’s spent a while now trying to battle the odds and fight his way back into the mix with the Blues, but it seems like all parties have accepted the fact that Giroud’s time with Chelsea is going to be ending sooner rather than later.
