Inter Milan consider Aubameyang ‘ideal’

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan now consider Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to be the ‘ideal’ replacement for Lautaro Martinez if he winds up leaving the club during the summer transfer window. The expectation amongst many fans is that Martinez will indeed be leaving Milan once the season comes to an end, with Barcelona being at the forefront of the rumors when it comes to who is going to sign him.

Inter have hardly been shy as of late with going out and trying to sign top players, and that’s especially true for players in the Premier League. In the last year alone they’ve been able to lure Romelu Lukaku away from Manchester United and Christian Eriksen away from Tottenham Hotspur, with the hope being that they can use the allure of near-guaranteed Champions League football to persuade Aubameyang that his future lies away from the Emirates and in Italy.
