According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan are contemplating the sale of defender Milan Skriniar this summer.
The 25-year-old is widely considered to be one of the most exciting centre-backs in world football today, but even with that being the case, it appears as if there could be a price high enough for Inter to sell him. The most interested party as of this writing is none other than former Premier League champions Manchester City who, as we all know, have had their fair share of defensive problems this season.
Skriniar has many years ahead of him at the highest level, so long as he can maintain his current trajectory. The popular opinion always seems to be that playing in the Premier League serves as the real test of a defender’s abilities, but the question is whether or not the man himself believes in that theory.
Either way, it’s going to be a big few months for him.
