Inter Milan could look towards Payet

According to Sky Italia, Inter Milan could be interested in signing Dimitri Payet if their initial transfer plans fall through. The 31-year-old has spent the last year with Marseille after returning to the French club from West Ham United, but now, it seems as if he could be on the move once again. Inter, who qualified for the Champions League on the final day of the Serie A season, are hoping to add Malcom to their ranks in the next few weeks – but if that falls through, then Payet could be looked upon as the backup plan.

While some will suggest that Payet deserves more than that he certainly hasn’t been lighting up the football world as much as he had been doing with the Hammers, although injury issues have played a big part in that. Payet’s future is certainly up in the air with several clubs being interested in him.
