Inter Milan end Lukaku chase?

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan have once again ignited their interest in signing Edin Dzeko – and the reason for that is because they are not willing to match the £75 million valuation for Romelu Lukaku, meaning they have brought their interest in him to something of an abrupt end. Lukaku’s potential deal to Inter seemed like it was a done deal not so long ago, with Manchester United fans resigning themselves to the idea of the big Belgian leaving Old Trafford. Now, however, a spanner has been thrown into the works, but some fans think this is nothing more than a bluff from the Serie A side.

They know that United are more than willing to get this deal done, so perhaps by indicating that they aren’t interested in moving forward, they’ll force United’s hand and will make them drop the fee to a lower overall figure.
