Inter Milan enter Maitland-Niles race

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan have entered themselves into the race to try and sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The youngster, who is capable of playing in several positions across the pitch, appears to have fallen out of favour with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta over the course of the last few months. He hasn’t really been making any kind of progress in the first team, and as such, the expectation is that he’s going to be leaving the Emirates sooner rather than later.

It was recently reported that AC Milan would try and throw their name into the hat in an attempt to sign him up, but now, Inter have also made their intentions clear.

Whether or not this is more of a ‘big brother’ move than anything else remains to be seen, but one thing that does appear to be true is that Inter are willing to go after just about anyone in the transfer market.
