Inter Milan are most probably not going to win Serie A this season, after getting themselves into title race with Juventus for the biggest chunk of the campaign. But they are now preparing themselves for a hectic summer in which Antonio Conte will be expected to make a lot of deals happen that will ensure his squad is even stronger and with more depth than this season.
For that he will be bringing in new faces, but it looks like Inter will also have to raise some money by selling the players they do not need. And what better way to raise money than to sell players on the fringes of the first team to Premier League sides for hefty sums of money? Inter are now confident that Newcastle United will take up the option to sign Valentino Lazaro permanently at the end of his loan spell at St James’ Park.
Tuttomercato are reporting that the Magpies will pay around 25 million euros to bring the 24-year-old midfielder to become their player on a permanent deal.
