Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on Atalanta starlet Andrea Petagna, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri have an in-form striker in Mauro Icardi, but with Eder’s future in doubt, they may need to sign a decent back-up for the Argentine.
And it would appear as though former AC Milan youngster Andrea Petagna has emerged as their top target having impressed playing for Atalanta at the start of the season.
The 21-year-old was finally given a chance to impress after returning from a successful loan spell with Ascoli and he has so far bagged 4 goals in 17 Serie A outings this season.
And while that is not exactly an enviable record, it is pretty decent for a talented forward enjoying his first full top-flight season.
The Nerazzurri have climbed to fifth thanks to a run of six straight victories and they can be backed at 1/5 to see off Pescara this weekend.
