Inter Milan go after Cavani

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Inter Milan are interested in trying to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani on a free transfer this summer. The club are preparing themselves for the seemingly inevitable departure of Lautaro Martinez who is destined to sign for Spanish giants Barcelona.

Cavani, on the other hand, has been linked with a switch to the Premier League in addition to a move over to La Liga with Atletico Madrid – but we’re still very much in the early stages of what looks set to be his free agency period.

As a consistent goalscorer, the Uruguay international has rarely been given the kind of credit that many fans and pundits believe he deserves. If he can mastermind a move away from the French capital in favour of another top European club, he could finally prove to the world just how good he is.
