Inter Milan go after Kante

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan are in deep talks with N’Golo Kante’s agents about a deal for the midfielder.

The Chelsea star may well still be one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, but even with that being the case, it just doesn’t seem as if the Blues are overwhelming eager on keeping him. That may not turn out to be true depending on what happens, but Inter are the ones who are forcing the issue right now.

Kante has spent the last few years as the pillar of consistency for both Chelsea and Leicester, and when you consider the level of opposition he’s been doing it against, you’d have to imagine he would also thrive in Serie A.

Either way, though, this is yet another story from Europe that could wind up developing over the course of the impending January transfer window.
