Inter Milan go after Matic

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan will once again try and make a move for Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic during the upcoming January transfer window. The 31 year old is set to be out of a contract at the end of the current season, with the belief being that the club want to take a chance on selling him for the right price before he winds up leaving on a free.

Matic came to United with a great deal of hype, with many believing that he could go on to become one of the best midfielders of his generation. Alas, it hasn’t quite worked out that way, and now it looks much more likely that he’s going to make the jump away from Old Trafford.

However, Inter aren’t willing to play ball 100% – and they would actually prefer to secure a cut price offer in order to convince the Serbian to make the move.
