According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Inter Milan have thrown their name into the hat to try and sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. The Frenchman has been at the heart of a great deal of speculation over the last few years, with Juventus and Real Madrid being the favourites to acquire his signature for a while now.
Alas, it appears as if Inter boss Antonio Conte, who managed Pogba during their time at Juve, has entered the race. Conte is willing to sell controversial forward Mauro Icardi in order to finance the move, as rumours grow regarding what Pogba will do next.
It always felt as if he was unlikely to remain at Old Trafford for much longer, but now, it’ll come down to the controversy surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic.
Pogba wants to test the waters with something new, and Conte is willing to provide him with that chance.
