Inter Milan have been interested in Premier League players ever since Antonio Conte took over as coach. He signed Romelu Lukaku and loaned Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United last summer, but now he could be going after a Chelsea striker in 2020.
Olivier Giroud could be on his way to Inter in January, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport’s report. The France international has a contract with the Blues until end of the current season and Inter could be getting the best part of that situation.
- Giroud will have the opportunity to leave the club next summer and choose his next destination, earning himself a better, more lucrative contract. He will become a free agent and Inter could even make a pre-contract offer for him once 2020 rolls in, as he will enter the final six months of his contract with the London-based club. The Frenchman is eager to join the Serie A side before potentially going to MLS in a few years.
