Inter Milan interested in Torreira

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Inter Milan are considering a swap deal that would see them sign Lucas Torreira from Arsenal.

The midfielder is currently out on loan to Atletico Madrid from the Gunners, with this proposed deal seeing him go to the San Siro with Christian Eriksen being set in the opposite direction.

Eriksen has seemingly made it clear that he is interested in the prospect of returning to the Premier League, but if he’s desperate enough that he’d go to Tottenham’s rivals, you’d have to think his situation at Inter is even worse than most had thought.

Torreira was formerly considered to be one of the most exciting rising midfield stars in the Premier League but now, that reputation has slipped through his fingers. Instead, it looks really unlikely that he is going to find his way back into Arsenal’s team if he ends up returning from Atletico.
