Serie A high-flyers Inter Milan are being linked with a move for Monaco full-back Fabinho, according to Rai Sport.
The Nerazzurri started the season in great fashion before their five-match winning run was ended with a 4-1 loss to Fiorentina, and it looks as though Roberto Mancini will be shopping for defensive reinforcements in January.
Despite adding Martin Montoya to Davide Santon and Danilo D’Ambrosio, the former Manchester City manager is far from happy with his options at right flank and plans to sign a new right-back in the winter transfer window.
Rai Sport understands that the Nerazzurri are readying bid for Monaco’s Fabinho, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder.
However, Inter could face stiff competition for the Brazilian footballer from the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United.
The Nerazzurri face Sampdoria on the road next weekend and they can be backed at 1/1 to return to winning ways.
