Portuguese daily newspaper Record claims that Inter Milan are the latest high-profile side to have shown interest in Benfica defender Victor Lindelof.
Despite making mere 17 league appearances for the Eagles, the 22-year-old has become one of the hottest commodities in European football, and he is heavily linked with a big club move.
Chelsea, Roma and Napoli are all believed to be keen, while Inter Milan have now joined the race as well, according to reports.
The Nerazzurri are somewhat short of quality options in the heart of defence after Juan Jesus joined the Giallorossi, and they clearly hope to bring the Sweden international to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
However, that is not going to be an easy task taking into account Benfica’s €30 million asking price, as well as the player’s desire to remain at Estadio da Luz for at least one more season and thus secure regular playing time.
