Italian giants Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on Mateo Kovacic and William Carvalho, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri have decided to reinforce their midfield department in the summer as they hope to mount a serious title challenge in Serie A next season.
Inter Milan have set their sights on former player Mateo Kovacic, who is reportedly looking to leave Santiago Bernabeu in search of first team football.
The Nerazzurri are also looking at Sporting CP and Portugal hotshot William Carvalho, who is again being linked with a big club move.
It has to be noted though that Inter Milan will have to raise some cash through player sales before they can recruit new footballers in order to avoid FIFA Fair Play sanctions.
Much will depend on the Nerazzurri’s potential Champions League qualification, as they are now priced at 7/10 to achieve a top 4 finish.
