Italian giants Inter Milan are being linked with a January move for Lyon defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, according to L’Equipe.
The Nerazzurri sporting director Walter Sabatini knows the centre-back from his time at AS Roma and he hopes to lure him to Stadio Olimpico this winter.
Inter Milan plan to use Yanga-Mbiwa until the end of the season and then send him to Jiangsu Suning.
However, the Nerazzurri could face competition from surprise Turkish Super Lig leaders Istanbul Basaksehir, who are also showing interest.
With head coach Bruno Genesio having used Yanga-Mbiwa in just two league fixtures this season, Lyon are ready to consider offers in the region of €5 million.
