Inter Milan are the latest club to be linked with a move for Steven Gerrard, according to the Mail Online.
The Liverpool captain, who has spent his entire career so far with the Merseyside club, has admitted in recent weeks that he could well be playing his football away from Anfield next season.
However, former Manchester City manager Roberto Martinez, who was unveiled as Inter manager for the second time over the weekend, could make a bid for the 34 year old when the transfer window reopens in January, though a number of clubs in the MLS are also monitoring the midfielder’s situation.
In sixteen years as a first team player, Gerrard has racked up six hundred and seventy-eight club appearances in all competitions, scoring one hundred and seventy-six goals and winning a host of major honours on the way.
Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon and can be backed at 4/5 to take all three points.
