Inter Milan are open to selling Alexis Sanchez in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported by the Spanish news outlet that Inter cannot afford to keep as expensive a player as the former Arsenal and Manchester United forward as a substitute and are looking to offload him.
Sanchez’s current contract with Inter runs until the summer of 2023 and his annual salary is €7 million net. The 32-year-old Chile international forward has made 10 starts and 17 substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored. Sanchez also made one start and four substitute appearances in the Champions League for the Nerazzurri this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Inter have won Serie A this season, but financial problems at the club mean that they may have to offload some of their highest earners. The problem that Inter could face in offloading Sanchez is who will buy him.
