Inter Milan ready to sell Icardi

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan are gearing up to sell Mauro Icardi this summer in order to raise the funds needed for a big overhaul during the transfer window. It’s not exactly a secret that the Argentine forward is going to be on his way out of the San Siro sooner rather than later, but now, it seems as if there’s a genuine purpose behind it. In addition to Icardi going somewhere that he feels more comfortable, Inter also have a series of well known stars on their wish list. This includes Luka Modric, Ilkay Gundogan, Ivan Rakitic and Edin Dzeko, all of whom have been linked to the Italian side in the past.

There’s a good chance that Inter wouldn’t be able to get all four of those deals done, but even one or two would likely be considered good enough for their loyal fanbase.

As long as they can replace the goals they’ll be losing with Icardi, they should be just fine.
