According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Inter Milan have ruled out a move for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer.
The San Siro residents have even suggested that he was never a transfer target for manager Antonio Conte, despite the fact that many pundits believed that was where the Frenchman would end up.
Over the course of the last few years nobody has been able to deny the influence that Kante has had both in the Premier League and internationally, and yet despite that, all of the talk this summer has been that Frank Lampard wants to get rid of him.
We’ve seen many, many changes take place at Stamford Bridge in the last few months, but if Kante can start to get back to the kind of form that saw him win back-to-back Premier League titles, it’ll almost certainly feel like a brand new signing for the Blues.
