Serie A high-flying side Inter Milan is set to rekindle interest in PSG out-of-sorts winger Javier Pastore.
The Nerazzuri have long been linked with the 28-year-old Argentina international and according to Corriere dello Sport they are prepared to step up their interest this winter.
Javier Pastore is currently nurturing his ligament injury and is not expected to be back in contention in three weeks’ time. The Argentine, however, is fighting it extremely difficult to break into the first team at Parc des Princes.
Luciano Spalletti is in pursuit of a trequarstista – a player to fit in just behind his attack line – and the Inter Milan officials are said to be ‘crazy about’ Pastore who made a name for himself playing at Palermo.
Inter Milan are struggling to meet the Financial Fair Play regulations and are willing to offer Joao Mario in exchange for Javier Pastore this winter.
