Maicon’s agent, Antonio Caliendo, insists that the Inter Milan defender will not be leaving the Italian giants in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old Brazilian defender has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months.
“I cannot say anything, but it seems hard to believe that players of this level can be exchanged in mid-season,” Caliendo told Tuttomercatoweb. “These players are usually the subject of very well-planned transfers.
“Cases as as Ronaldinho are rare, where he wishes to return home and play. I don’t exclude anything, as football has become a rapidly developing sport.”
