Inter Milan step up Aleix Vidal chase

According to Sport.es, Inter Milan are stepping up their pursuit in acquiring the services of Aleix Vidal. The 28-year-old Barcelona defender/winger has been attracting the interest of many top clubs around Europe over the last few months, and just a few days after the Italian side was said to be in the race for his signature, it seems as if negotiations are set to begin.

Interestingly enough the current deal involving Rafinha, which has seen him go to the San Siro on loan from the Nou Camp, seems to be hindering the Vidal deal as opposed to helping it. The likes of Liverpool have also voiced their interest in potentially luring Vidal away from Barcelona, but as it stands, Inter are in the driving seat and are in the process of taking the next step towards confirming the transfer.

Vidal would likely be a replacement for Joao Cancelo who is all but certain to be on his way out of the club.
