Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri recently reinforced their midfield department with the likes of Gagliardini, Valero and Vecino, but they are in the market for another central midfielder.
Inter Milan plan to sign a deep-lying playmaker in the mould of Daniele De Rossi or David Pizarro, and they believe Lucas Torreira is the right man for the job.
The 21-year-old has largely impressed since joining Sampdoria from Pescara a year ago, making 40 Serie A appearances.
Torreira has already caught the eye of AC Milan, AS Roma and Sevilla, with Inter Milan now joining the chase as well.
