According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Serie A giants Inter Milan are still confident in their ability to complete the loan signing of Alexis Sanchez. The Manchester United forward has been edging closer and closer towards a move away from Old Trafford over the course of the last few months, following an abysmal tenure up in Manchester. The belief is that the loan will be a season-long deal, which is set to cost Inter around £11 million. The fact that Anthony Martial picked up an injury recently isn’t going to throw a spanner into the works, although that was the expectation as many felt like Sanchez would serve as a decent enough back-up option for him.
The injury was sustained during their loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend, but alas, Sanchez is not set to receive the call as many had anticipated.
Either way, Sanchez’s days are numbered at United.
