According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Serie A giants Inter Milan are set to increase their offer to sign Roma forward Edin Dzeko. They want to bump up their price from €12 million to €15 million, but the belief is that Roma will demand a fee of at least €20 million before they agree to any kind of sale. Roma manager Paulo Fonseca is willing to keep Dzeko on the books if they fail to come to any kind of arrangement, and with his contract being set to expire next summer, they may just decide to keep him on the books.
Inter’s search for a new striker has been well documented over the course of the last few months, and it’s an issue they have clearly spent a lot of time on. With that in mind, it’ll be interesting to see what they do if they are unable to land either of their primary targets.
