Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport claims that Inter Milan have made a substantial proposal for Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
The Serie A hotshot quickly became one of Europe’s most sought-after footballers, with a host of top European clubs casting admiring glances his way.
Several of those have already had substantial offers rejected for Belotti and Inter Milan can now be added to said list.
The Nerazzurri showed genuine interest in the striker by offering €70 million plus three players, with Davide Santon and Andrea Ranocchia believed to be among them.
However, Torino chairman Urbano Cairo rejected the proposal, due to the fact that he doesn’t want to sell Belotti to a Serie A side, while he also hopes to receive no fewer than €100 million for his prized asset.
The 23-year-old has just finished his best season up to date having bagged 26 goals in 35 Serie A outings.
