According to reports in England, Inter Milan and AC Milan are set to lock horns once again – but not on the pitch. The Italian rivals are both interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, as they aim to push their way up through the ranks of Serie A once again.
The 31 year old’s contract with the Blues comes to an end following the 2018/19 season, and it’s no secret that there’s a chance he could move on to something new. Fabregas has had a decorated career both in terms of what he’s done on the pitch and how many trophies he’s won with Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona, but it does seem like his time at the top is coming to an end.
With that being said, a move to Italian football could be a great way for him to prolong his playing days and still remain relevant with a major club.
