Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Inter Milan are hot on the trail of Lazio winger Antonio Candreva.
The Nerazzurri already attempted to recruit the Italy international on several occasions in the past, but without success.
Nevertheless, having witnessed another excellent performance from Candreva as he shone for Italy against Spain, Inter Milan are set to return with a new offer.
According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri will start the bidding at €22 million, although with Lazio requesting €28 million for their prized asset back in January, chances are they will have to increase said proposal.
Antonio Candreva has been one of Italy’s leading footballers for several years now and he has so far managed 42 goals and 44 assists in 185 competitive appearances for Lazio.
The 29-year-old should be in the starting line-up when Italy take on Germany on Tuesday, with the Azzurri 16/5 chance to emerge victorious.
