Inter Milan look set to challenge Serie A rivals Juventus and AC Milan for the signature of Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri plan to shake up their attacking options at the end of the season and the Italy international appears to be high on their wish list.
Inter Milan have been impressed with Berardi’s performances over the last couple of years and they look determined to lure him to Giuseppe Meazza.
The problem is that Juventus have the option to buy the player back for €25 million, but a return to Turin seems unlikely for the 21-year-old.
Namely, while the Bianconeri may opt against triggering said clause as they already have a plethora of quality options at their disposal, it appears Berardi is not keen on returning either.
Having seen his former teammate Simone Zaza struggle for playing time at Juventus, he is not ready to make the same mistake and will rather be looking to join either AC Milan or Inter Milan.
