According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Inter Milan are prepared to make a new bid for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. They are planning to use funds raised by the sale of Gabriel Barbosa to Flamengo, which is a deal that has been in the pipeline for quite some time.
A lot of fans have either just heard his name quite a lot or used him on Football Manager from time to time, when it reality, he has a great deal of potential.
Lazio have done well to keep hold of him for the time being, but given Inter’s recent track record of going after players, it certainly seems as if it’s just a matter of time before they land their man – provided they carry on their strong run of form between now and January.
Lazio are known to hold firm, though, and will continue to do so if they feel the offer isn’t adequate.
