“He will not be part of our project” he said.
Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Gabriel Barbosa will not be in the club’s plans moving forward, Sky Italia reports. Barbosa is set to leave Inter during the January transfer window, despite just returning from a loan spell with Flamengo that saw him assist the club in winning two pieces of silverware.
Some have argued that Barbosa hasn’t really been given all too much of an opportunity to shine for Inter since arriving, and the man himself would probably agree. However, given how much he clearly loves playing back in Brazil, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if Barbosa was the one who suggested that he moves on.
He was once known for being nothing more than a Football Manager legend but as the years have gone on, Gabigol has certainly done his talking on the real pitch as opposed to the virtual one.
