Inter Milan are set to step up their interest in AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas, Tuttosport can reveal.
It is no secret that the Nerazzurri have made the Greece star their primary target and they appear to be hoping to wrap up the deal well ahead of the summer transfer window.
Tuttosport claims that Inter Milan will meet with AS Roma officials after the Inter vs AS Roma clash on Sunday, when they are expected to present the first formal offer.
According to reports, the Nerazzurri will start the bidding at €45 million, although they will also receive €8 million from the sale of Juan Jesus.
Manolas will be offered a long-term deal worth €3 million per campaign, which would be a serious pay rise given that he is currently earning €1.8 million per season.
Regarding the Sunday’s game, it is the Nerazzurri that have been made 8/5 favourites to claim maximum points.
