Inter Milan told James Rodriguez is not for sale

Inter Milan have failed in their pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, Don Balon can reveal.

The two clubs’ leading men Zhang Jindong and Florentino Perez recently met in Madrid to discuss the transfer deal for the Colombian, but no agreement has been reached.

Namely, Inter Milan chiefs were told that James Rodriguez would not be sold in the summer as Zinedine Zidane believes he still has a lot to offer to the club.

Real Madrid did inform the Nerazzurri that they might consider selling the likes of Isco, Alvaro Morata and Karim Benzema, but the Serie A side are currently not interested in the trio.

James Rodriguez continues to be linked with a summer exit as he is no longer a first team regular at Santiago Bernabeu, but it would appear as though los Blancos are still not ready to let him leave the club.
