Serie A giants Inter Milan are said to be keeping a close tab on Paris Saint-Germain central defender Presnel Kimpembe.
The 22-year-old France defender is a highly regarded talent who emerged as a quality alternative for Thiago Silva and Marquinhos this season.
Having made 19 Ligue 1 appearances, 4 in the French Cup and three more in the Champions League, Kimpembe has been given a vote of confidence from Unai Emery and his fine displays have already attracted plenty of suitors.
According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio travelled to Paris this week to have a look at Kimpembe in action against Real Madrid.
The youngster did not get a chance to play in the return leg against Los Blancos as he ended up sitting through his team’s 2-1 defeat.
Ausilio reportedly wanted to use the occasion to approach PSG and get informed about Kimpembe’s availability.
The French centre-back is under contract with PSG until 2021.
