Inter Milan want Boateng

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Inter Milan are considering the possibility of putting forward a bid for Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng. The German international was once, and still is by some, considered to be one of the best defenders in world football. He was once a target for Manchester United but the deal never came to fruition, and now, he is said to be expected to leave Bayern during the summer transfer window. Boateng was considered to be one of the ‘villains’ of Germany’s 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign last summer, but ever since then he has done a solid enough job of rectifying his reputation.

Inter, on the other hand, have made no secret of their desire to bring in a whole host of new players during the upcoming transfer window. If they can lure Boateng over to the San Siro, then perhaps it’ll be a sign of things to come for them.
