Inter Milan want Borussia Monchengladbach defender Mathias Ginter

Inter Milan are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach central defender Mathias Ginter in the summer of 2022, according to Calciomercato. The Germany international central defender will become a free agent at the end of the season, and defending Italian champions Inter are keen on securing the services of the 27-year-old then.

Ginter has been on the books of Monchengladbach since 2017 when he joined from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund. The defender has established himself as a key figure in the Monchengladbach team over the years and is now considered as one of the better players in his position in the Bundesliga.

Monchengladbach are ninth in the Bundesliga table at the moment with 15 points from 11 matches, four points behind fourth-placed VfL Wolfsburg. Inter are currently third in the Serie A table with 25 points from 12 matches, seven points Napoli and AC Milan, who are first and second respectively.
