Inter Milan want Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri

Inter Milan are interested in signing Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness. Newly-appointed Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi wants to bring the 26-year-old left-back to San Siro.

However, Inter are not the only club who are reportedly interested in the Italy international left-back. Napoli are also claimed to be keen on the former Santos and AS Roma left-back. Chelsea could reportedly sell the 26-year-old former €5-6m.

Palmieri joined Chelsea from Roma in January 2018. The left-back has failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and is a fringe player. The Italian made two substitute appearances in the Premier League and played four times in the Champions League for Chelsea this season, according to WhoScored.
