According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Manchester United will need to pay a fee of around €80 million if they want to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar this summer. That is the figure that has been put to United by Inter as we head into what is bound to be a busy transfer window.
The belief is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Skriniar as the perfect partner for Harry Maguire at the back, but of course, Inter are trying to build a superteam of their own right now.
Whether or not they’ll be capable of doing so is up for debate, but one thing that cannot be denied is the resilience of both clubs.
They’ve been able to work together in the past and if United have it in them to stump up that kind of cash, in this kind of economy, it’s a risk that could easily pay off.
