According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan are contemplating a move for Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud during the January transfer window. Manager Antonio Conte is intent on bringing in another striker, especially after Alexis Sanchez was ruled out for a few months with a dislocated ankle. Inter have made it clear that they are willing to do everything in their power to push Juventus all the way in the Serie A title race, and that includes signing veteran forwards who are known for popping up in important games.
Giroud, of course, fits that bill pretty nicely, but it’d be interesting to see whether or not that’s the kind of move that would interest the Frenchman.
He is believed to have a series of offers from elsewhere, with one of the primary ones being from Major League Soccer which is a league many believe he would fit into quite nicely.
